In honour of our loves ones...
Every year in December, the front lawn of Northside General Hospital and the gardens at Harbourview Facility are illuminated with thousands of lights and sculptures. Each one of these represents a memory of a loved one or honours an important person. In recognition of these gifts to the Lights for Health Campaign, the Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation and Friends host special events with a spectacular fireworks display, a visit from Santa Claus and refreshments. The entire community is invited each year!
Individuals or organizations can make donations that correspond to a light or sculpture. Each gift will be recognized at the event in our “Book of Lights” that we pass out prior to the ceremony. The book is filled with the names of those that gave in honour of somebody important or in memory of loved ones. For as little as $10, you can honour a loved one by dedicating a white light.
