We invite you to join us for our 1st annual Boxing Day 5K on Friday December 26th, 2014. We encourage you to bring your family to run or walk the route together. Registration begins at 10 am on the Ground Floor Lobby of the Northside General Hospital or register early at the Norhside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation Office. Call us at 902-794-5402. The run begins at 11 am and the first 50 people to register will receive a commemorative toque. The registration fee is $30, all proceeds to adolescent mental health & addiction.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, proceeds from our 2013 Lights for Health Campaign helped patients needing Renal Dialysis treatments. Your gifts are extremely important because they have an immediate impact. Northside General and Harbourview are your community hospitals. We exist to serve you and your loved ones. In cities and towns across Canada, thousands of local organizations are doing important life-saving work for the women in their communities. The Shoppers Drug Mart Tree of Life campaign encourages customers and employees to support this important work. This year, the Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation has partnered with the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation. Proceeds from the Tree of Life Campaign will support a new Wig Bank for Northside General Hospital and the Cape Breton Cancer Center. Golf Charity Event announces Title Sponsor for the Second Year –Northern Contracting Ltd gives $5000 to support two local hospitals for the second time. Proceeds from this event will support the purchase of priority equipment. AML Painting will provide funding to cover the costs of dinner for the event which allows the Northside/Harbourview Hospital to increase revenue from this event.
